Tesla motors this week has announced that they will stop taking orders for their famous Roadster model within the next two months. don't worry though, this is only so that they can focus their efforts and production for their new luxury Sedan, the Model S. Compared to the Roadster, which was a two seater sports care, the S will be a bargain starting out at "only" $58,000 for the base model that gets a range about 160 miles. They expect to sell more of the higher end model with extended range power pack at around 300 miles.
Tesla, the car company that proved you can have an electric car for the bargain price of $108,000!
I want to say something snarky, but this is just too pretty for that.

In other news, Norwegian electric car Think Global AS filed for bankruptcy Wednesday in its home market of Norway after attempts to keep the company going through recapitalization and restructuring failed, the company said in a statement. It is the fourth time Think has collapsed financially in its 20-year history. Considering that the Think sold just 1,043 units in 2010, this news is far from being a surprise.
