Mood Music

There are times where you find yourself driving down the highway when the sun, or the moon if you prefer, is just right, the traffic is just right and there is nothing ahead of you but clear and empty roads.

If you've got a cool car, then you are probably just enjoying the sound of the pipes, if you are just anjoying the zen of the moment and have the radio blasting, you probably have your favorite songs blasting.

I've got a thing for old 70's & 80's arena and progressive rock, so you can almost guarentee that when the time comes, there is an unnecessicerily long guitar solo blaring through the speakers as I drive too fast down the highway.

I have had one car where the sound of the car over-road any musical choice.

I also remember listening to some wonderful Jazz on a stormy night driving down coast south of L.A. in a brand new silver Alfa Romeo Spider that I had rented from a small rental place that rented this type of car. Had the top down all day until a "quiet storm" hit.
