If you get a chance, listen to the factory stereo in the Genesis Sedan.

17 speakers, 580 watts.  Designed and executed by European Car Audio House:  Lexicon

I've been in the car audio biz and this is one system that will put aftermarket car audio out of business.  Most impressive.

I can CLEARLY remember that beautiful sound when test driving it!    The dealer said it was the same system they installed on Rolls Royce?  Is this true?

The dealer told me the same thing.  I do recall reading it on a Genesis propaganda piece at the dealer.

Simply amazing in sound and versatility.  BOSE Blows.

Cool...one more thing the Korean upstarts seem to be getting right.    When all you have to do is pick the right vendor and have them tune to your interior this should NOT be that difficult for a manufacturer.
Will a Brit audio system, in a Korean car play Nashville music?

Ron,

I have not heard the system, but your recommendation should be enough for me.  Can you estimate how much or even just how MANY audio components currently  have residence in your home?  The 12-volt variety is just a minor part of your collection.........

Aw Steve....Mine is the home for obsolete formats.  Just unload reel to reel a few years back and still have 1200 record albums, 400 laser discs, and a 10 year old home theater with Kef and Sunfire components.

What I really have is lots of source material and a reliable system to play it on.  I do most of my listening in the car.

I've heard about these iPod things.  Do they really work?

iPods rock. hahahah.  That is a ton of records...should be worth a pretty penny to some electro DJ's to mix with!
