I have a 2008 Audi TT.  The oil seems to disappear in this thing.  The dealership swears up and down that the consumption of oil is 'normal'...but I am literally filling it every month...well, every other month maybe.

They had supplied me with some spare oil but now I dont know what type of oil the TT takes.  Any help?

Hey Trevor.  Ahhhh - where in So Cal are you?  I am in Downtown SD!

I have now talked with several Audi owners and it seems this is a problem with many Audi's.  The dealership did a full test on the oil levels and said everything was normal, even with the dissapearing act.  No oil spill/leakage spots under the car either.

I was stumped...

Andrew - from dealer..........

I was copied from Audi regarding your concerns over oil consumption with your 2009 TT.

There are a few situations that could cause this; the most common is a defective oil separator valve.

I'll let you know if this 'fix' helps

So then I guess they have thousands of cars with crappy OSV's??!?!  Cuz mine did it AND my friends A8 does it too!!!
