Celebrating the Honda Civic
So, when I was living in NJ and commuting quite a bit, my daily drive to and from work would take me up and down the Garden State Parkway and the NJ Turnpike. I spent, on average, about two hours per day in my car. I honestly didn't mind my commute all that much during most of the year. But as all New Jerseyans know and know well, the Parkway and the Turnpike are NOT places you want to be anywhere near in the summer. Born too late
Ok. So, I've had this theory about myself for about as long as I can remember. Here's the deal: I should've been a teenager in the 80's. Instead, I went to high school in the early 90's, a somewhat late-blooming headbanger, silently watching as my favorite bands took a backseat to grunge.
