Way back when I first got on the net with very slow modems I remember "meeting" a test driver for BMW motorcycles that I was considering buying. He had some great information and there was no way I would have contacted him directly except through the net.
I also had a guy offer to buy and bring back a Schuberth helmet that was only available in Germany. I physically met up with him and we shared some coffee to deliver that helmet.
Give it a try..ya never know what may come of it.
